Hi Deborah, Brilliant, what a fabulous recall of a previous life. Happy anniversary to you both, has your wife ever had any past life recalls, I am figuring you have probably had a few. And I am smiling about the synchronicities. I have just drafting a post about a meditation I had this weekend, where I slipped back onto a past life with John. And I was chatting with a friend to seek her permission, as I have been poked to write about twin flames and soul mates; John the twin and Bron, the mate. The energy and resonance, a wow. 🥰 🙏 🔥

Many thanks, dear Simone! In one of our recent conversations, you suggested I write this past life love story, and I thought - yes, why not? What a unique gift for my wife - the story of that moment during our Reiki attunement when I plunged into a vision. Thanks so much for the gentle nudge! 💜

Lin doesn’t have clear memories like mine, but she carries a deep knowing - an unshakable sense that we have lived many lifetimes together. When we met, she was training as a therapist of the body, and I, of the mind. And together, we knew we would find soul. ✨

Ah, synchronicities abound, don’t they? I love the way we all inspire and encourage one another. I feel blessed to have found a small group of like-minded souls here on Substack. For it’s soul recognition I seek - not buttons or numbers. 💜

I’m already looking forward to your next post, eager to hear your past life memories with John. Soulmates, twin flames, soul family - a gathering of stars. After my last post, I did a small edit and shared a poem that came to me after reading all those soulful replies. ✨

Hi Deborah, Yes, I remember 😊. And a deep knowing is another type of memory ❤️. I feel blessed for the small community and connections here too 🙏. Yes, I did see your poem and will be sure to have another read, I read it on the fly. The Universe is nudging us to make these threads and connections — the synchronicities, so thank you. And fly again I will — dusk is seeping in and this weary little fairy is off for a bite to eat and to edit a draft ... which might not see the light for a few days, a busy week. 🤣. Full moon tomorrow 🧙🏻‍♀️, so a labyrinth walk has been called with the local witches 🥰 . Have a great day

And if any broomsticks take flight, I hope they hold good navigation magick! Enjoy your evening, dear Fairy Crone! 🧙‍♀️✨

You bring a smile on my dial Deborah, I just want you to now how grateful I am for the connection, the encouragement and acceptance. As I sit here having my bite to eat, and staring at the fire, I imagine how fab it would be for those we have connected with to be sitting around the table breaking bread. 🙏 This isn't getting our draft ready, pokes John ... 🤣. He loves it 🍻🎶

Aww, your words warm my heart, Simone! What a beautiful thought for the 'stars' to gather, break bread and 'sing' together. Good luck with your draft. Many years ago I wrote a short poem for my online soul friends which I feel called to share with you. It's titled 'A Nod to All Poets'. This one sleeps and dreams in my first poetry collection 'A Liberated Sheep in a Post Shepherd World' on page 236. I love sharing the page with you. Thank you so much!

Our pens scratch

at simple words,

we share them

in everyday silence.

Yet here bread

is still broken,

wine ever spilt,

souls gathered

and poetry made.

ancient memory, beautiful and heartbreaking, and hopegiving, all at the same time.

That Rumi quote! "Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They are in each other all along."

This is what I've experienced too. Before meeting Josh (my now husband, 28 years ago) I received flashes of insight that somewhere there was my 'twin-flame' waiting, yearning, walking, reaching towards me, as I was growing towards him. This is never a one-sided affair... Within a few months from that insight to our first meeting in real spacetime, that's exactly what happened. 🕯️✨ 💗🙏 🕯️

Thank you so much, Veronika, for your love-ly comment! It makes my heart smile to know that you and Josh found each other and that your relationship continues to blossom after all these years. I met my wife twenty-one years ago, and it has been such a beautiful - though at times, challenging - journey together. Within months of meeting, we signed up for Reiki training, where I plunged headfirst into this past life vision. The truth of our relationship shattered me - in the best way - as I opened my eyes and saw her sitting across from me. 🕯️✨ 💗🙏 🕯️

Thanks so much, Maryellen. Love is stronger than death. I love writing stories as presents and gifts to others, weaving memories into words that last. Once I've fully retired at the end of next year, I might even consider commissions - transforming others cherished memories into lasting words for those who wish to preserve them. Just a fleeting thought for now really. 🖊️

Thank you so much for reading, Charles. This is my eighteenth fragment for my forthcoming mosaic memoir. I’d like to write more stories. Our friend Simone gently nudged me to write this one last week.

In Rumi’s words, 'What you seek is seeking you' - which I’m translating as: our yearning speaks to the depth of our heart. Trust that the universe holds a path for us, and connection may find us in unexpected ways.

Aww, many thanks, Jamie! Our big day falls toward the end of May, but since we’ll be away then (more stone circles!), this week was the perfect time to sit and write one of our past life stories. Castlerigg and the Lakes will be a much longer summer visit, but I’ll certainly dance around their stones as well and think of you while we’re up there. 🙏❤️

Next week, we’re off to Avebury, then Stonehenge for a few days - I’ll take you there first. Later this summer, when I reach Castlerigg, I’ll dance around the stones for you too. If you’ve read 'Croneology', you’ll know Avebury is the place where Lin and I had our blessed 'Croning' ceremony last year. The most wondrous of occasions! 💜💜

Hmm, all this talk of stone circles has got me thinking - another fragment for my mosaic memoir, still waiting to be written. Thank you so much, dear friend, for the gentle nudge. ✨

Blessed anniversary. I'll have my 57th anniversary with Vic on May 18 but only 40 of those years were embodied. The details differ, but I recognize the power of the knowing and immediate connection to the one who will be your soul partner in life and (for me) after death. I'm still aware of the rich grace of the years I spent with my Victor. He was a gentle man with the heart of a warrior. I love the quote Veronika shared from Rumi: "Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They are in each other all along." Thank you for this piece, Deborah. You are creating a magnificent mosaic.

Dear Elaine, wishing you a blessed 57th wedding anniversary for next Sunday. Our date falls later in the month, but this week offered me the perfect moment to pen this story for Lin.

I’m so thrilled to share that she loved it. Though we had spoken about this vision many times over the years, I had never put the words to paper until now. Reiki showed me its power that day - its healing runs deep, deep, deep. A past life regression was not what I expected, but when I opened my eyes and saw her, my eternal twin flame, my heart and soul pirouetted.

The love and connection you shared with your beloved Vic is so beautiful, and I honour the depth of your knowing - that immediate soul recognition of the one meant to walk beside you. 'The Goddess and Her Green Man' remains on my website. I often reread it at this time of the year. You can also find it in my second collection 'The Shepherd's Daughter' page 106.

Thank you so much for seeing the mosaic I’m creating and for adding to it with your own.

I do hope things are a little calmer for you and your beloved this week after all the fear, worry and upset of the past two weeks. I'm not the praying kind, my dear friend, but you've been in my thoughts so much. No wonder your heart feels inspired. 💕✨💕
